Our three marathon raids are open events (open to both licensed and non-licensed participants) and recognized by the FCWB.
In accordance with the federation's rules, the bib numbers for the Raid Des Hautes-Fagnes 2025 will be allocated for the 115/90 km as well as for the 65 km as follows:
Although the race is organized by successive wave starts, each of our events will have one single ranking based on the real times (= the time between the start and finish timing mats) achieved by each participant.
The minimum age limit for registration for the 115km and 90km distances is 19 years old, and 16 years old for the 65km distance.
Each participant must be fit to practice mountain biking. By starting the race, every rider declares themselves to be in good health.
The organization reserves the right to modify the course for safety reasons, in particular. It is prohibited to throw any trash outside the designated areas along the entire course, under penalty of disqualification.
The mountain bike must be in good working condition. The organization disclaims any responsibility for loss or damage to equipment or personal gear.
Although the main intersections of the race are secured by volunteers and/or the police, bikers must, always, respect the road code. Participants are required to comply with the traffic laws, local regulations in the areas crossed, and the instructions given by the organizers at the start.
The highest level of caution is recommended. Wearing a mountain bike helmet is mandatory. A first aid station will be available at the starting site. Competitors forced to abandon the race must make their way to the nearest aid station.
The first aid supervisor will make the decision whether the competitor and their equipment (bike) need to be evacuated by the organization.
In the event of a race cancellation due to exceptional circumstances, only the registration fee paid by the rider will be refunded. In case of withdrawal by the rider, the registration fee will be refunded in cases of force majeure, provided that the organization is notified by email before the event takes place. No refund will be issued without proof of the reason.
A rider suspended for doping is not allowed to start the race.
Participants expressly authorize the organization to use their image for the promotion of the event.
By participating in the event, the rider acknowledges that they have read and accept all the clauses of these rules.
E-MTBs (electric mountain bikes) will be allowed on all distances but will not be included in any category rankings. Riders must indicate their bike as E-MTB during registration.
